GODFREY, LLM in Employment and Labour Relations, LL.B (Hons) University of Dar es Salaam. He has great experience in Labour and human resources matters having working as trainee in the High Court of Tanzania (Labour Division) for one year and as Legal Officer at Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE) for two years.

Also he has wide experience in civil and criminal Litigation having worked as a state Attorney for 4 years. In his legal career spanning 10 years, Godfrey focuses mainly on employment matters, immigration laws, investment law, Criminal cases and commercial and Civil litigation. He has been involved in some major cases in both the Commission for Mediation and Arbitration, Subordinate courts , Land and Housing Tribunals ,High Court main registry , High Court Labour and the Commercial Divisions Court and Court of Appeal of Tanzania.

Godfrey brings with him an excellent record of defences’ in Labour cases. He has appeared before courts in Tanzania and engaged in many high profile cases representing parties within the country. Godfrey was also a member of Essential Service Committee having been appointed by hon. Minister of Labour and Employment of the United Republic of Tanzania. He is also a member of Tanganyika Law Society and East Africa Law Society.
